The gallery is currently displaying the Birmingham Qur’an that you may have heard of, one of the oldest in the world and with us until August.

Lafz Magazine is excited to introduce one of Britain’s most popular qawwali ensembles to IAW and Birmingham.  Get there early to enjoy the park and beat the crowds.

KHAYAL

Join us in the Faith in Birmingham Gallery for a performance of Khayal. Khayal is a genre of classical singing in North India. Its name comes from an Arabic word meaning ‘imagination’. LIVE DEMONSTRATION OF ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY

Join us for a spectacular live demonstration of the art of Arabic calligraphy by world renowned master, Haji Noor Deen . This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand how Noor Deen creates his spectacular artwork. At the end of the demonstration there will be an opportunity to purchase a selection of his work.

PRACTICAL WORKSHOP ON CREATING ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY

Learn how to create Arabic Calligraphy with world renowned master, Haji Noor Deen. This is a unique opportunity to understand the complexity of this beautiful art form from a leading professional artist. The practical workshop is limited to a maximum of ten people, so participants will benefit directly from Noor Deen’s practice and knowledge.
